Brahmi (Bacopa monnieri - CDRI 08)

Memory and concentration support

Bacopa Monnieri, commonly known as Brahmi or Bacopa used in Mind Wise, is a medicinal herb, used for generations in Ayurvedic medicine for supporting memory, concentration and learning capacity.

In Mind Wise, a specific standardised extract of Bacopa Monnieri, known as CDRI 08, is used. Mind Wise with CDRI 08 has been extensively researched for over 40 years* to support cognitive health.1-8

Bacopa monnieri in history

Bacopa monnieri, also known as Brahmi, is a small creeping herb found throughout the Indian subcontinent.

More about Brahmi in traditional medicine

It has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for almost 3000 years. Throughout this time, it has been associated with a variety of health benefits including heightened learning capacity, promoting memory and concentration, as a nerve tonic and to support cardiovascular health.

It is the memory and learning effects of Bacopa that have attracted the most attention in the last few decades and, in doing so, have become the subject of much clinical research

CDRI 08 in Mind Wise: Clinical trials

The specific CDRI 08 extract of Bacopa monnieri has been researched in multiple randomised controlled trials demonstrating that it can help improve cognitive function and is well tolerated at the recommended dose. 1-6 The table below covers a selection of key clinical studies on CDRI 08.
